- AbstractMagnetic induction tomography (MİT) is a low resolution imaging modality which attempts to reconstruct the electrical conductivity distribution in the body. MİT uses magnetic induction to generate eddy currents in a region of interest via transMİTter coils and the secondary magnetic field due to the eddy currents is measured by an array of recever coils. In this work, the resolution and stability analysis of a typical 16 channel MİT system were realized based on a singular value decomposition of the sensitivity matrix. The performance of the system for different levels of signal to noise ratio was investigated. Additionally, the used analysis was tought to be a guide for the optimum experiment design methods in the future.
